Adult Formation Classes
Sunday Mornings

On Sunday mornings, during the school year, St. B’s offers formation classes for adults. Classes are one hour and conclude in time to receive communion in the church. All of our formation classes, children, teens and adults, can serve as the Liturgy of the Word, the first half of the Holy Eucharist.

seasonal Class

Poetry and Pilgrim Souls
Sundays, 10:30 a.m.
October 14 - November 25

Poets seek to do the impossible--find language that incarnates our experience in all its sublime mystery--joy, sorrow, and wonder. In this six-week class, we'll engage with some poems of Emily Dickinson, Gerard Manley Hopkins, as well as some contemporary poets, to see what questions they raise for us as Christians and what conversations they make possible. Sundays, Oct. 14 - Nov. 25 in the Ministry House.

Ongoing Classes

Centering Prayer
At 10:30 a.m. during the school year
in the Ministry House

Craving some peace and quiet? This historic, contemplative prayer style has been at the heart of Christian Formation for centuries. The class is open to everyone including newcomers and experienced contemplatives alike. Contact Rick Wood for more information at .

LifeBuilders
At 10:30 a.m.
in Wallace Hall

The LifeBuilders class is open to everyone. With members ranging from their 20s to their 80s, the LifeBuilders class pairs thoughtful study with discussion and fellowship, resulting in an incredibly rich experience as we explore God’s word as a community and discover what it means for us in our daily life. This year the class is making their way through the book of Ephesians.  The class meets in sync with the children's classes and is facilitated by Don Paul Gross and David West.
