Wednesday Classes

Lectio Divina Group
Wednesdays, 6 - 7 p.m.

Lectio Divina is a slow, gentle, meditative reading of God’s Word that evokes a personal response, that leads to prayer, and ends with quietly resting in God’s love. While there are many ways to pray, this two thousand year old monastic discipline uniquely lets scripture become a very personal conversation with God, a conversation in which we come to know the intimate love of God much more profoundly. We will start at 6 p.m. and close by 7pm for a focused hour of quiet listening and responding. For more info, contact Mark at .

Telos: Becoming Who We Are
Wednesdays, 11 a.m. & 6:30 p.m.
Sept. 19 - Nov. 14

Join Fathers Sammy and Travis for a series of conversations about how St. B's is "being built together into a dwelling place for God by the Spirit." Drawing on Paul's letter to the Ephesians and using our own building as a framework, we'll explore foundational understandings and practices for being God's church in Nashville. Each class will begin with a brief teaching followed by group conversation. We'll continue with small group discussions, then close with prayer.

This class is being offered on Wednesdays, Sept. 19 - Nov. 14 at 11 a.m. in the Ministry House and 6:30 p.m. in Wallace Hall.

Register for childcare during the evening class by emailing by today Sunday, Sept. 16.
