April 19 | Good Friday Liturgy | 7:00 p.m.
The Triduum liturgy continues on the evening of Good Friday. This part of the Triduum dates back to the third century and marks the solemnity of this day. The Passion and death of our Lord are read from the Gospel of John, followed by a homily and what is known as the Solemn Collects. The prayers of the people call us to remember our responsibility to continue the mission of Jesus in the wake of his death. Communion is served from the reserved sacrament and the liturgy concludes in silence.
Take part in the story that changes everything by kneeling at the cross.
Incense will be used. We recommend those affected by it sit on the outside of the pews nearest the windows.
