Men's Retreat 2018

St. B’s Men’s Retreat
March 9 - 11
The Retreat at Center Hill Lake

Register Here

Men of St. B’s register now for a weekend at beautiful Center Hill lake, March 9 -11. Step back out of the traffic and explore alongside other men what it means to hear the voice of God.

Does God speak to us?  Does God speak to individuals and not just the community?  How does God speak to us? How do we prepare ourselves to listen/hear God speak?  How do we listen to God in our marriages?  Our jobs?  With our children?

Our retreat begins with dinner at 6pm followed by an evening session and small groups. Saturday will include a morning session, smalls groups and afternoon free time. Enjoy hiking, running, fishing, and kayaking on 139 acres.  The evening will feature a BBQ Cookout. Sunday we will conclude with breakfast and morning Eucharist, wrapping up by 10:30 am

St. B’s Jeramy Williams will be our speaker.

As a former All-American linebacker and high school football coach, a current adjunct teacher at Trevecca, speaker, and retreat leader, Jeramy, husband to Araya, and a dad to Gracelyn, Lydia, Abby and Tekoa, looks to compel, love and inspire others towards hope and wholeness in Jesus and His Kingdom.  Team Williams have been part of the St. B’s family for a little over two years.

Randy McLellan will be leading music. Fr. Sammy and Fr. Travis will be chaplains for the weekend.

Most rooms have 2 beds (mostly twin, double, or bunk beds).  Some are located in the lodge (hotel style), while others are located in a shared cabin with 2 shared bathrooms per cabin.

The cost is $160 and covers lodging, the speaker, facility space, and meals from Friday dinner through Sunday breakfast. Scholarships are available. Please note that the church is subsidizing the cost. If you are able, please consider contributing an additional amount to defray the cost to the church.
